** We are actively seeking entry-advanced level technicians specializing in automated systems maintenance. Join our team and play a pivotal part of launching Hobart's newest fully automated cold-storage expansion! Your expertise will be vital in driving our success and fostering innovation.
**** Responsibilities:
*** Maintain and troubleshoot all systems and subsystems of the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS), including conveyors, robotic arms, and End of Arm Tools.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system components, including sensors, PLCs, fieldbus communication, and network systems.
* Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and adjustments to ensure system reliability.
* Replace and repair conveyor mechanical components (chains, belts, rollers, drive motors) and control system sensors (photo-eyes, proximity, electronic sensors).
* Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage in CMMS and report issues to management with estimated repair timelines.
* Assist and train automation technicians in troubleshooting and repair procedures.
* Ensure a clean and organized work environment by removing replaced parts and maintaining equipment areas.
* Work safely in cold environments and at heights, following all company safety protocols.
** Technical Requirements:
*** Strong working knowledge of 480V, 277V, and 120V electrical systems (single and three-phase).
* Advanced experience with PLCs, network diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams, and Illustrated Parts Breakdowns.
* Mechanical and electrical aptitude to replace and maintain RGV and crane components.
* Experience with CMMS and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Physical ability to perform equipment inspections, mechanical repairs, and component replacements.

*** Ability to work in varying temperatures as low as
-20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius
* Ability to work in confined spaces and working at heights up to 100 feet
