Position Summary: The Manufacturing Engineer plans, designs, arranges, changes, and optimizes shop manufacturing processes.

Ideal Candidate:

• Must be available to work on‑site daily in Hobart, Indiana.

Salary Range: $70,000–$90,000

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop, evaluate, improve, and document manufacturing processes.
• Develop and implement process control procedures.
• Direct improvements to facilities and processes.
• Analyze manufacturing process flows continually to improve quality, cost reduction, and throughput.
• Work with configuration control and design engineering on product tooling and design.
• Consult with vendors about product specifications, arranging equipment, purchasing parts and material, and evaluating products according to quality standards and specifications.
• Work closely with manufacturing department to develop, coordinate and implement technical training for employees.
• Design and develop manufacturing processes for enhancements, product changes, new products and related fixtures and tooling consistent with zero‑defect level and low product cost.
• Document tool drawings, design concepts, shop orders, and concepts.
• Help production with troubleshooting and resolving technical problems.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or similar field.
• Engineering internship/Co‑Op experience preferred.

• Knowledge of manufacturing and Lean concepts.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
