Job Summary

The Team Leader will supervise the day‑to‑day functions of the front desk, medical triage, and back office staff at an assigned urgent care clinic, oversee medical assistant and radiology technician staff, and ensure the highest quality care and operational efficiency. This full‑time, onsite position works 6.5 shifts per pay period.

Work Hours & Shifts

12‑hour shifts, 8 AM–8 PM. 3 shifts one week, 3.5 the following, rotating weekends. Clinics are open 7 days a week:
Mon‑Fri 8 AM–8 PM, Sat‑Sun 8 AM–6 PM.

Responsibilities
  • Provides day‑to‑day leadership of the clinic’s culture and environment, ensuring adherence to policy and procedures.
  • Provides training to medical assistants and radiology techs on intake, registration, triage, and administrative tasks.
  • Analyzes and intervenes on clinic issues with focus on front‑to‑back office activities.
  • Serves as primary contact for de‑escalation and crisis intervention efforts.
  • Identifies and communicates priorities, timelines, and accountabilities for efficient resource use.
  • Cultivates a positive work environment that supports high engagement and quality care.
  • Serves as a resource for patient questions regarding experience.
  • Consults with the Regional Manager on employee and workplace concerns.
  • Manages inventory of medical supplies and places orders within budget.
  • Enhances operational effectiveness through cost containment and accurate registration.
  • Participates in quality improvement projects to sustain high‑quality outcomes.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Maintains a safe work environment and upholds company quality standards.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • BLS certification.
  • 3–5 years of progressive experience in medical settings.
  • At least 1 year of managerial experience.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Knowledge of regulations, HIPAA, and clinical best practices.
  • Experience in a patient‑centric environment.
  • Experience with electronic health systems and databases;
    Experity experience a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to handle confidential information effectively.
