ResponsibilitiesPosition Summary: The Inventory Manager will manage the activities and performance of Supervisors to ensure that quality products are manufactured on time, safely, and within budget.

Salary Range
: $80,000-$100,000K
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manages the department, ensuring efficient and timely production and proper staffing of all department‑related requirements to complete projects on schedule and within budget.
- Manages the Supervisor(s), ensuring their teams are well managed; supports recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
- Assigns duties, gives verbal and written instructions, and reviews work for conformance to quality and safety standards.
- Provides technical guidance to team members and consults with other resources when needed.
- Communicates with the Director, Manufacturing regarding schedules and backlogs.
- Works with Project Managers and Engineering as appropriate.
- Determines outsourcing needs to maintain project schedules.
- Reviews labor charges, purchase requisitions, and department schedules.
- Conducts department and CIT meetings.
- Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures.
- Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience in the material handling industry.

Requirements:
- Excellent management skills for directing, coaching, scheduling, and assisting team members.
- Technical orientation with ability to learn new technologies.
- Computer skills including MS Office Products.
- Experience using MRP/ERP system; SAP Preferred.
- Strategic thinking and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self‑motivated and detail oriented.
- Ability to multi‑task while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines.
- Team‑oriented and collaborative.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
