Position Summary: Order Filler’s label and put away materials received from other departments. They work with other departments to ensure delivery of materials safely and on time.
- Labeling and counting materials received from other departments and puts away in the correct area safely and on time.
- Preparing accurate orders for outbound shipments.
- Consolidating inventory.
- Conducting weekly inventory — down stocking, refreshing labels as needed.
- Uses a scanner to verify and track orders.
- May be required to use material handling equipment, following all safety rules.
- Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures.
- Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience operating forklift equipment a plus
- Experience with inventory/shipping a plus

Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction, and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and making fine discriminations in sound. - Repetitive motions:
Making substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Visual Acuity:
- The worker is required to: have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
- The worker is required to: have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles.
- The worker is required to: have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned or to make general observations of facilities or structures.
