Position Summary

Material Coordinator performs support tasks for the manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter data into SAP database about quantities of issued and transferred parts
  • Resolve job/segment shortage discrepancies
  • Receive manufactured parts into stock and issue out to upcoming jobs
  • Assist in daily tasks to assure productivity efficiency
  • Identify parts through the use of UKG and drawings
  • Update daily senior management on status of shortages on the segments
  • Investigate missing stock parts needed for work orders and sales orders
  • Monitor and keep an updated shortage list available for the Shipping Management team
  • Work with every department to resolve shortages to close job/segments in time
  • Inform shipping of any findings to help segments ship on time
  • Comply with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures
  • Ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • UKG/SAP experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills including Word and Excel
  • Accurate data entry skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Ability to multi‑task while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines

ADA Requirements
  • Sedentary work:
    Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.

    The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
