Position SummaryThe Custodian cleans the company facility and provides a sanitary, comfortable work environment.
Ideal candidate- Authorized to work in United States without requiring sponsorship
- Ability to work 1st Shift, hours 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday
- Ability to work 2nd Shift, hours 2:30pm-11:00pm Monday-Friday
- Ability to work weekends/overtime if necessary
- Maintains the facility in sanitary condition through washing, cleaning, and replacement of equipment and furnishings
- Applies cleaning solutions and chemicals to surfaces
- Empties trash containers and disposes of debris appropriately
- Sweeps and vacuums floors
- Cleans stairs from carpets and upholstery
- Damp-dusts furniture, light fixtures, window sills, and other surfaces
- Cleans bathrooms, including toilets, wash basins, and mirrors
- Identifies and reports needed repairs
- Washes windows
- Replenishes supplies, such as cafeterias and bathroom items
- Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku's policies and procedures.
- Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to follow instructions
- Knowledge of safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Great communication skills
