Position: Primary Care Sports Medicine Physician (MD/DO)

Primary Care Sports Medicine (PCSM) Physician — Partnership Opportunity near Lubbock, TX

We’re seeking a Primary Care Sports Medicine physician (DO or MD) to join a new, privately owned practice located about an hour from Lubbock, TX. The practice is in a family-friendly, tight-knit community that values hard work and small-town connection.

This role offers an immediate partnership/ownership opportunity and is ideal for a physician who values autonomy, high-quality patient care, and a true work-life balance.

Why this opportunity stands out:
  • Strong preference for DOs with a passion for regenerative and non-surgical orthopedics, sports medicine, and a concierge-style payor mix.
  • Perfect for someone who enjoys a quiet, rural lifestyle — short commutes, low cost of living, and plenty of time for family or personal pursuits.
  • The town is underserved
, currently supported by only two part-time surgeons and no MRI services — creating tremendous growth potential.
  • The practice plans to expand with ancillary services such as physical therapy, athletic training, and more.
  • Established referral networks already exist through local high schools, colleges, and community sports programs.

This is a rare opportunity to build something meaningful while enjoying a rewarding career focused on quality care rather than quotas or insurance battles. The compensation is highly competitive, with the potential for long-term financial upside through ownership.

Requirements:
  • DO or MD, fellowship-trained in Primary Care Sports Medicine
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of New Mexico
  • Willingness to participate in both Medicaid (30–40%) and out-of-pocket/regenerative medicine cases
  • Interest in taking on partnership or ownership as the practice grows

If you’re ready to escape the grind, make a lasting impact, and practice medicine the way it was meant to be — this is your chance.
