SUMMARY: Responsible for the overall repair and maintenance of all slot machines and gaming devices shift in accordance with property policies and procedures. Responsible for providing efficient service to all slot guests and ensures slot machines are monitored and repaired on a continual basis for full capacity operation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- Must qualify for licensing with the New Mexico Racing & Gaming Commissions.
- High School diploma or G.E.D preferred.
- Six months to one year experience in electronics and maintenance of technical equipment, game machines, or slot machines preferred.
- Ability to work varying schedule to include: all shifts, days, and holidays.
- Good oral and written communication skills, must be fluent and literate in English. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- Must have a good working knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of New Mexico gaming laws and regulations as well as the Penn National Gaming’s internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations with co-workers, guests, and vendors.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work as part of a team and to promote a cooperative approach between departments.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
