Associate Patient Services Specialist - General Surgery

Under the direction of the PAS manager, the Associate Patient Access Representative is responsible for assisting patients during the on-site registration and arrival process for scheduled and unscheduled visits, collecting accurate demographic and insurance information, and collecting patient liability at the time of service. The individual also handles financial clearance functions on assigned scheduled accounts during registration and performs miscellaneous client service activities such as valuables collection and providing basic customer service.

The Representative greets and serves patients in a professional, friendly, and respectful manner to promote positive encounters.

• Assist patients during on‑site registration and arrival process for scheduled and unscheduled visits.
• Collect accurate demographic information, insurance information, and patient liability when applicable.
• Perform financial clearance functions on scheduled accounts during registration.
• Handle miscellaneous client service activities, including valuables collection and providing basic customer service.
• Greet and serve patients professionally, friendly, and respectfully.

Pay Range: $14.42 - $21.61 per hour. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
