As a member of the surgical team, under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse Circulator, you will maintain the operating room sterile field, pass instruments, sutures, and sponges during surgery, ensure that proper aseptic technique is utilized to prevent contamination and infection, perform in the role of second scrub as needed, and assist the registered nurse with circulating duties.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology or an Armed Services Surgical Technology program.
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association credential upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Surgical Technology upon hire.
- Previous OR training or experience.
