Essential Functions:- Provide final technical review on tax returns and documents for most of our client base.
- Research tax issues and develop resolutions and recommendations.
- Stay updated on developments and changes in tax law and accounting procedures.
- Coordinate and oversee planning, organizing, and interfacing with clients to meet deadlines.
- Communicate with clients to ensure their best interests are served.
- Support and direct staff activities, set budgets, and foster a positive work environment.
- Monitor quality and performance of personnel and products.
- Manage tasks/projects assigned to staff and supervisors.
- Develop staff and supervisors continually.
- Build and leverage internal and external networks for business development.
- Oversee billing, collections, and monitor WIP, aging, and write-downs.
- Participate in in-house CPE and training activities.
- CPA Certification required.
- Minimum 10 years of public accounting experience.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Strong decision-making abilities and initiative.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure.
- Excellent organizational skills to prioritize heavy workloads.
