Overview
The Regional Sales Director is responsible for building and developing a highly effective sales team with the ability to successfully launch a new therapeutic product. They establish sales strategies to attain monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals, penetrate underserved clinical markets, and assist with the development and ongoing review of sales compensation and training programs. The Director ensures all field representatives comply with regulatory requirements, including HIPAA.
Responsibilities
• Recruit, hire, train, and lead a team of Territory Account Managers, ensuring they have the resources and support to build alliances and close sales.
• Establish and execute sales strategies to achieve defined monthly, quarterly, and annual goals, researching and identifying marketing opportunities.
• Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales methods, costs, and results.
• Assist with developing and reviewing compensation and training programs for Territory Account Managers, ensuring fair reward structures while preventing over compensation of low performers.
• Educate therapists, patients, and physicians on the Flexitouch system and other products through professional in‑services and demonstrations.
• Provide customer support, including training and reimbursement assistance, and handle customer concerns or complaints.
• Contribute to senior management meetings with suggestions for continuous improvement and best practices.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant equivalent sales experience.
• Home medical equipment and/or pharmaceutical sales management experience.
• Evidence of increasing revenue through motivation and strategic partnerships.
• 5–10 years of sales management experience.
• Proven ability to launch new products.
Knowledge & Skills
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Travel 70% of the time within territory, plus occasional out‑of‑territory travel for conferences and training.
Salary
Starting salary range: $137,500 – $173,250 (offers may differ based on location, experience, and skills).

This position is exempt from overtime and eligible for a sales incentive plan.
