The opportunity
This is an opportunity to become deeply immersed for 18 to 24 months in a global initiative to transform EY’s sales approach, behaviors and activities.
EY’s Sales Transformation Program will play a pivotal role in driving the professionalization of sales within our global organization. This initiative aims to continuously evolve the firms’ approach to sales across a number of dimensions:
- Elevating the sales acumen of all client serving professionals by achieving a minimum level of mastery of sales fundamentals (The Brilliant Basics)
- Ensuring the technology roadmap continuously aligns with broader Clients & Industries initiatives, leveraging the firm’s investment in Dynamics and identifying opportunities where AI can be beneficially deployed
- Working with Talent to assess the future talent requirements of the sales organisation including a review of remuneration and evaluation models, as appropriate
- Designing a sales operating model and ensuring it is implemented globally and in each Super Region, as appropriate
- Ensuring there are programs to drive both near and long-term cultural transformation to create a distinctive EY sales culture that provides a consistent client experience, fosters teamwork, and focuses on client value
Reporting to the Sales Transformation Program Lead, you will have the opportunity to own and drive a number of complex programs including project scope, time and budget plans, resourcing plans, risk and mitigation strategies, program activation plans, communication plans, and ROI analysis.
You will be involved in planning and leading stakeholder meetings, working groups, and steering committee sessions globally with multiple EY and Clients and Industries stakeholders, identifying opportunities for effective collaboration and co-creation of program deliverables.
You will develop a comprehensive understanding of the program to connect all facets, applying in-depth knowledge of EY’s business, resources, leveraging relationships, communications, and operational effectiveness including sharing success stories and examples that showcase program outputs and applications, while building momentum and insight across regional Clients and Industries teams.
Skills and attributes for success
Ideally, you’ll have:
- Exceptional program management skills, with evidence of leading large-scale programs
- Functional sales experience and/or a good understanding of one or more of the key program areas
- Demonstrated change leadership skills and experience of operating with business agility, innovation and the ability to foster adoption
- A high level of complex, conceptual problem-solving ability, a wide sphere of influence and a broad-based network
- Demonstrated drive, determination and resilience, and a track record of being able to overcome barriers and achieve results
- An understanding of and desire to strive for profitable growth and commercial impact
- A global mindset and ability to communicate and work effectively across cultures
What we look for:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent qualification required
- 10-12 years of complex and large sales enablement experience
- As the job involves responding to clients' needs and varying time zones, flexibility to work extended hours
