Outreach Coordinator Day shift

Bolo Behen Outreach Coordinator

Under the supervision of the coordinator, the outreach educator will manage a small caseload to provide linkage and referrals to community resources;
Will provide educational outreach in Hudson County New Jersey School districts, colleges, and community or professional groups; will respond to hotline calls from victims of sexual assault; will provide administrative assistance.

Education:

BA/BS in education, psychology, social work, public relations, sociology, women's studies or related field, or equivalent experience (Preferred)

Work Experience:

0-1 years experience with victims of sexual assault (required);
Public speaking and presentation experience. Effective written and oral communication skills. Bilingual –Fluent in Hindi/Urdu or any other South Asian Languages. (preferred)

Licensure/

Certifications:

Completed 40-hour Rape Crisis Training;
Valid NJ Driver's License (preferred)
