Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant

Job Title:
Advanced Practice Provider (APP) - Emergency Department

Location: Jersey City, NJ (Two Locations)

Position Type: Full-Time

Shift Details: Mixed Days & Nights Preferred (Options: 9 AM - 7 PM, 11 AM - 7 PM, or 7 PM - 5 AM)

Hours: 144 hours per month, with the option to work additional hours as needed.

Patient Encounters: Average of 1.5 patient encounters per hour.

Qualifications:

• Must be a licensed Advanced Practice Provider (APP), Nurse Practitioner (FNP), or Physician Assistant (PA-C).
• Valid New Jersey state license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Capability to treat patients of all ages, including pediatrics.

Emergency Department Overview:

• Part of a three-hospital system with a combined total of:
  • 22,000 ED visits at Facility 1
  • 35,000 ED visits at Facility 2
  • 38,000 ED visits at Facility 3
• Strong and supportive hospital leadership.
