Solution Architect Senior Manager
The Solution Architect Senior Manager is responsible for designing the Managed Services (MS) deal shape, aiding the Deal Lead in building people, process, and technology operational models and costing. This role includes creating transition plans and service management layers in line with standard EY normative models to ensure successful delivery and client satisfaction.
Essential Functions- Design the MS deal shape, working closely with the Deal Lead to ensure alignment with client needs and EY standards.
- Develop and implement people, process, and technology operational models, ensuring they are cost-effective and scalable.
- Create detailed transition plans and service management layers to facilitate smooth transitions and ongoing service delivery.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate solutions, commercials, and client requirements into cohesive and comprehensive MS deals.
- Ensure all solution elements come together seamlessly, providing a holistic approach to MS deal design and delivery.
- Support the Managed Services delivery team with the transition and establishment of managed services, ensuring adherence to EY normative models.
- Capture and document knowledge into EY artifacts to support Managed Services pursuits and EY’s overall approach.
- Analyze business and technical requirements to design operational and architectural blueprints that achieve business objectives.
- Propose architecture solutions based on business and technology considerations and suitable alternatives to satisfy client needs.
- Assess risks and commercial impact, providing input towards the design of specific priority managed services offerings.
- Make informed decisions to ensure the successful delivery of MS deals, balancing client needs and EY standards.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering complex MS deals, including multi‑tower and first‑of‑kind engagements.
- Strong understanding of people, process, and technology operational models and their integration into MS solutions.
- Expertise in creating transition plans and service management layers in line with industry standards and best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and clients.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a focus on delivering high‑quality solutions that meet client needs and expectations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, IT, or a related field.
- Understanding of Managed Services including knowledge of market and industry dynamics
- Understanding of and experience in organization transformation
- Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL) preferred.
The compensation ranges below are provided in order to comply with United States pay transparency laws. Other geographies will follow their local salary guidelines, which may not be a direct conversion of published US salary ranges. - We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $150,400 to $343,600. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $180,500 to $390,500.
Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
