Service Now Consulting Manager – Strategic Portfolio Management

opportunity

You’ll lead Service Now Transformation teams in a rapidly growing area of the business. It’s a client‑visible role with opportunities to showcase your ability to motivate and develop your team while establishing and maintaining new client relationships. You will grow your consulting and team‑leadership skills, build relationships and obtain experiences that will define your career.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and defining user/customer requirements while focusing on developing user interfaces (UI) across various platforms including mobile, web, and tablets. You will engage in coding, programming, and creating specifications to deliver development services that align with business requirements.

Your

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead workstream delivery and ensure effective management of processes and solutions.
  • Track deliverable completion and project status, ensuring alignment with performance objectives.
  • Actively participate in client working sessions, leading work streams from planning through execution and closure.
  • Manage and mentor a multi‑disciplinary team of 5‑10+ resources including offshore consultants, developers, and testers.
  • Build and foster client relationships and demonstrate the value of EY services.
  • Provide guidance and industry‑leading practice expertise for Service Now SPM process implementations.
  • Analyze a company’s people, process, and technology capabilities, provide leading‑practice recommendations and contribute insights to strategic roadmaps.
  • Lead client process and design sessions and facilitate requirements workshops with functional and/or business process subject‑matter resources.
  • Support pre‑sales efforts including creating proposals and estimates.
  • Ensure delivery of high‑quality artifacts and project documentation.
Skills And Attributes For Success
  • Excellent business acumen with the ability to make fact‑based decisions and resolve conflicts.
  • Experience in waterfall and agile delivery models – including planning, status reporting, budgets, risk, and issue logs.
  • Strong communication skills – executive written and verbal communication.
  • Soft skills:

    adaptability, problem solving, teamwork, relationship building, dependability, and organization.
  • Ability to analyze organizational capabilities, provide recommendations, and contribute to strategic roadmaps.
  • Experience leading teams and supervising others.
To qualify for the role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Engineering or related field.
  • 4‑6 years of relevant Service Now SPM project experience.
  • Service Now Certified Systems Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD).
  • Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist – Strategic Portfolio Management.
  • 5+ years of Big‑4 or equivalent consulting experience.
  • Driver’s license valid in the U.S.
  • Ability to travel to meet client needs.
Ideally you’ll also have
  • Service Now Certified Master Architect (CMA) or Certified Technical Architect (CTA).
  • Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist – ITSM or Data Foundations.
