2x a week onsite. One of the days must be Tuesday, the other is Wednesday, but this is flexible. We are looking for someone who has passion for consumer insight, trends, innovation and the ability to turn consumer learning into meaningful insights that help shape business decisions. Someone who can spot opportunities, understand what will really address consumer pain points and help bring those ideas to life through a variety of sources.
The Associate Manager, Consumer & Market Insights Condiments Innovation will be part of the North America Foods Consumer Market Insights team, and will be responsible for leading innovation consumer research to inform the ongoing development and deployment of new products & product renovations for the US and Canadian consumers. The individual will be responsible for leading quantitative and qualitative research and insight, supporting the Mayonnaise business team in North America, across the Hellmann’s, Sir Kensington’s and Maille brands.
They will help the business generate & implement high growth & market/trend responsive innovations in short time. They will support delivering bigger, faster innovations & scaling up our agile approaches & toolkits in developing innovations. They will translate internal briefs into research projects. They will be comfortable using a wide range of research tools and methodologies, both quantitative and qualitative.
They are familiar research methodologies and tools and how they can answer a business question.
- Identify & integrate consumer insights into various innovation projects.
- Partner with stakeholders to align all research projects to the strategic priorities of the NA Nutrition & Dressings team
- Work end to end on innovation and renovation projects across the US & Canada Condiments team from ideation/co-creation, testing and in-market measurement/optimization
- Translate internal briefs and questions into analytical projects (includes refining the initial ask and asking the ‘right questions’, working through potential hypotheses and storyboarding the output)
- Provide qualitative and quantitative analysis and insight to inform business strategy, innovation, renovation, and future strategic product development. Lead meta learnings to synthesize overarching research findings
- Lead research projects from brief creation, through supplier selection, study design, interpreting results and providing actionable recommendations to the cross-functional team
- Be responsible for building and developing relationships with the global-wide Innovation team and across key business partners including Research & Development, Marketing, and Finance
- Translate brand purpose and strategic objectives to meaningful innovations and renovations
- Understand category and competitive landscape and bring outside-in inspiration to guide more impactful innovation and drive business change
- Pilot new methods & approaches, technology, and new suite of research toolkits across categories
