About the Role

The Associate Director, Influencer & Community Management will lead the strategy, development, and execution of influencer marketing and community management across the Personal Care portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of culture, creativity, and consumer connection—responsible for shaping how our brands show up authentically across social platforms, build meaningful relationships with creators, and foster vibrant communities that drive brand love and business impact.

You will guide a team in building best in class influencer programs, social storytelling, and community management frameworks that scale across multiple brands. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, operational excellence, cultural fluency, and a passion for emerging trends.

Key Responsibilities Influencer Strategy & Execution
  • Develop the influencer marketing strategy for the Personal Care portfolio, ensuring alignment with brand priorities, cultural moments, and business objectives.
  • Lead full funnel influencer programs—from awareness to conversion—across paid, earned, and ambassador channels.
  • Build and maintain relationships with creators, talent agencies, and platform partners.
  • Oversee influencer identification, vetting, contracting, briefing, content review, and performance tracking.
  • Partner with Insights, Media, and Brand teams to optimize influencer investments and measure ROI.
Community Management & Engagement
  • Create a community management vision that strengthens brand affinity and fosters two‑way dialogue with consumers.
  • Oversee daily community engagement across social channels, ensuring timely, on‑brand responses and proactive participation in cultural conversations.
  • Develop playbooks, tone of voice guidelines, escalation protocols, and engagement frameworks for the Personal Care category.
  • Identify opportunities to activate superfans, advocates, and niche communities.
Leadership & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Manage and mentor a team of influencer and community specialists, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Partner closely with Brand Marketing, PR, Media, Creative, Legal, and Retail to ensure integrated planning and flawless execution.
  • Serve as a subject‑matter expert on social and creator trends, platform updates, and competitive activity.
Analytics & Performance
  • Establish KPIs and measurement frameworks for influencer and community initiatives.
  • Analyze performance data to inform optimization, reporting, and future planning.
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations for brand teams and senior leadership.
Qualifications
  • 8–10+ years of experience in influencer marketing, social media, community management, or related fields.
  • A self‑starter who is obsessed with tangible business results, OKRs and pioneering new models – pushing the boundaries of what it takes to land impactful and influencer content (that drives engagement and ultimately sales).
  • Proven track record leading large‑scale influencer programs and community strategies for consumer brands (beauty, personal care, or lifestyle preferred).
  • Deep understanding of social platforms, creator ecosystems, and digital culture.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and agency partners.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and relationship‑building abilities.
  • Data driven mindset with experience using social listening, analytics, and influencer platforms.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment.
What You’ll Bring
  • A passion for creators, culture, and community.
  • A strategic yet hands‑on approach to building programs that scale.
  • Curiosity, creativity, and a drive to innovate.
  • A collaborative spirit and the ability to influence across teams.
