Family owned and operated for over 50 years, Mamoun’s Falafel is the oldest falafel restaurant in NYC and one of the first Middle Eastern establishments in the country.

Our mission is to serve fresh, authentic Middle Eastern food as quickly and as friendly as possible while creating an atmosphere that is energetic, upbeat, welcoming, and responsive for both guests and staff.

We are looking for Line Cooks to join our team. Our kitchen is the engine that drives our operations and our Line Cooks are the people that keep the engine running. They are responsible for managing our cooking stations and executing our food recipes. If you enjoy working with food and being part of a dynamic kitchen team, this is a perfect fit for you!

• Great Pay – our pay rates start at $16 per hour PLUS an extra $1-$3 per hour in tips!

• $200 Signing Bonus – receive $100 after your first 45 days (based on at least 100 total hours worked) and an additional $100 after 90 days (based on at least 200 total hours worked). (Only available for first time hires.)

• Work Anniversary Bonus! Paid each year on your anniversary.

• Ability to multi-task (perform multiple functions at the same time)

• Ability to lift and carry at least 30 lbs and perform other diverse physical tasks as needed
• Develop thorough knowledge of our menu and recipes (taught during training)
• Execute recipes and standard operating procedures for our daily food prep (taught during training)
