As a Front Desk Associate, you will provide a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests while ensuring an exceptional “Judgement Free” member experience.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Greet members/guests as they enter and exit the club; assist them with any questions or concerns as they check in.
- Help promote our Judgement Free Zone® by engaging with members on the club floor, offering assistance, and supporting their fitness journeys while upholding club policies.
- Resolve member concerns and, when needed, escalate to a Manager.
- Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with their inquiries.
- Perform membership functions such as sign‑ups, contact/billing information updates, cancellations, collection of unpaid balances, and membership transfers.
- Conduct prospective member calls and tours; assess their membership needs.
- Execute retail transactions accurately and drive sales goals.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all exercise equipment and Black Card spa amenities, including communal spaces and your assigned area.
- Keep restrooms clean, sanitized, stocked, and clutter‑free according to the routine cleaning schedule.
- Conduct a comprehensive walk of all club areas; quickly address safety/policy issues and cleanliness concerns.
- Address maintenance and facility concerns promptly, including broken or missing equipment.
- Hourly pay range: $15.49 – $16.49 (may vary based on factors unrelated to protected class).

- 6–12 months of experience in a customer‑service environment preferred.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (training provided).
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Continual standing and movement throughout the club during shift.
- Continual communication in person or on the phone.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Exposure to toxic chemicals during shift.
- Frequent cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities.
- Bending, twisting, and shifting positions as required.
