Job Description
At Playbook Experience, we’re looking for a hungry and passionate person to join our Corporate Events team as our Sales & Account Assistant. This position will give the right candidate exposure to all aspects of the sales cycle, from prospecting through closing a deal. They will also gain experience in account management and up-selling. Ideal candidates will have some experience in sales and account management, but be open to feedback and developing new skills.
We have a unique opportunity to enter the corporate events industry and this person will be pivotal in the success of our first year as a new brand within the Playbook Experiences family of brands.
- Create prospecting lists
- Make cold calls to potential clients
- Answer client inquiries and follow up after sorting out issues
- Assist in development of outbound sales strategy
- Work with marketing team to create email cadences
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss accounts and overall business opportunities
- Maintain contact with client from initial call through closing of the deal
- Schedule all planning calls and capture details to share with client and vendors
- Up-sell throughout planning process
- Own creation of event materials and effectively manage client expectations
- Attend events with goals of ensuring event goes smoothly and building relationships with clients
- 0-2+ years of experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required
- Strong listening, written and oral communication skills
- Self-motivated and organized
- Ability to thrive in fast paced and high intensity environment
- Knowledge of Hubspot a plus
