Job Description & How to Apply Below
Take ownership of a growing natural, grocery and distributor business

Kabrita is hiring a hands-on Key Account Manager to lead our natural, specialty and grocery business in the U.S. and our partnerships with UNFI and KeHE. You will own a broad portfolio of retail banners and distributors, open new doors in conventional grocery, and lead our Account Manager. This is one of two new Retail Sales roles reporting to the General Manager as we build out the team, and for the right candidate it offers a path to grow into broader Retail Sales leadership.

You will work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance.

About Kabrita North America

Part of Ausnutria, a global leader in dairy nutrition with over a century of expertise, Kabrita makes gentle, goat milk-based formula and foods in the Netherlands under strict European safety standards. We serve more than 60 countries and feed 1.2 million babies a day, because we believe every family deserves a confident start.

What You'll Do
  • Own the sales plan, trade budget and account contribution for all natural, specialty and grocery accounts, with clear action plans to recover and grow the business.
  • Proactively define corrective measures when campaigns and promotions do not deliver against plan.
  • Build joint business plans with key retailers and deepen relationships with buyers and category managers.
  • Lead new distribution in conventional grocery, from national chains to regional banners.
  • Manage the UNFI and KeHE relationships, including distribution, promotional programs and service levels, and control billbacks, chargebacks and deductions in partnership with Finance.
  • Plan the promotional calendar across retailer and distributor programs, and evaluate every promotion on ROI, velocity and trade-spend efficiency.
  • Use SPINS and Circana insights to influence assortment, shelf placement and pricing.
  • Direct our broker partners, setting priorities, performance measures and a regular review cadence, and ensure in-store execution, including new item setup, planogram compliance and out-of-stock resolution.
  • Lead, coach and develop our Account Manager, building account management capability across the U.S. team.
  • Align with the Key Account Manager for Walmart, Mass & Canada on channel priorities.
What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years of account management in U.S. consumer goods, with a strong track record in the natural channel; 7+ years preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with UNFI and KeHE, including promotional programs and deduction management.
  • Experience selling into national and regional grocery chains, such as Kroger, Albertsons or Ahold Delhaize banners.
  • Proven trade promotion management and ROI analysis skills.
  • Strong command of syndicated data (SPINS, Circana).
  • Experience directing broker partners, and coaching or managing account managers.
  • A hands-on mindset: comfortable doing the work yourself and being on the ground with customers and brokers.
  • Leadership potential and the ambition to grow into a broader Retail Sales leadership role.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills; you thrive with autonomy in a small team.
  • Infant formula, baby nutrition or another regulated baby category experience is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work from our Hoboken, NJ office three days per week.
What We Offer

Kabrita pays 100% of the premiums for our employee benefits, for you and your family, so you can focus on the work and not on the cost.

  • Medical, dental and vision insurance, 100% employer-paid, effective on your date of hire.

  • 401(k) with a 100% company match on up to 6% of your gross salary, beginning 90 days after your start date.
  • Generous time off: 10 paid holidays and 15 vacation days per year (unused vacation can roll forward), plus 6 sick days and 5 personal days.
  • $2,000 annual continuing education allowance to support your professional growth.
  • Salary Range: $130,000-$160,000
