Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automation Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in the field of automation testing, with a strong focus on UI automation and API testing. This role requires a thorough understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and processes, as well as a passion for quality assurance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain automated test scripts:
Create and manage automated tests to ensure the quality and functionality of our software applications.
UI Automation:
Design, implement, and execute automated tests for user interfaces, ensuring the best user experience.
API Testing:
Evaluate and test APIs to ensure their reliability, performance, and security.
Test Planning and Execution:
Develop test plans, test cases, and test strategies. Execute tests, analyze results, and report defects.
Continuous Integration:
Integrate automated tests into the CICD pipeline to ensure continuous testing and deployment.

Collaboration:

Work closely with cross functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other testers, to ensure comprehensive test coverage and quality.
Documentation:
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of test cases, test results, and defects.
Mentorship:
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior testers and team members.
Stay Updated:
Keep up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to automation testing.

Required Skills and Experience

Experience:

Over 8 years of experience in automation testing, with a strong focus on UI automation and API testing.
Technical Proficiency:
Proficient in automation testing tools such as Selenium, Test Complete, JUnit, TestNG, and others.
Programming

Skills:

Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
API Testing Tools:

Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or Rest Assured.
CICD Integration:

Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or Circle

CI.
Testing Frameworks:
Familiarity with testing frameworks and methodologies.
Analytical

Skills:

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Communication:
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Attention to Detail:
High attention to detail and a passion for quality assurance.
Agile Methodologies:
