Position

Senior Software Engineer

Location

Responsibilities
  • Participate in architecture and design of highly scalable, resilient, and highly available software applications.
  • Participate in all stages of the project lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, implementation, support, and enhancement.
  • Develop and maintain software applications using Java frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
  • Improve logging and monitoring of software applications using tools such as Splunk and Grafana.
  • Enable asynchronous messaging between software systems using messaging systems such as Kafka.
  • Deploy and manage software application on cloud environments such as GCP and Azure.
  • Improve quality and maintainability of software applications through proper code review.
  • Work with junior developer teams and implement agile or scrum methodologies to facilitate efficient software development processes.
  • Automate software build and deployment process using build tools such as Maven.
  • Create IVR and chat software systems using tools such as Dialogflow‑cx, Big Query, and Dialogflow‑es.
  • Design software services from start to end, considering the requirements and constraints of the software application.
Minimum Education and Experience

Master’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and 2 years of experience in large‑scale enterprise software development environment; OR Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and 5 years of experience in large‑scale enterprise software development environment.

Skills Required
  • Experience with architecture and designing highly scalable, resilient, and highly available software applications.
  • Experience with the full project lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, implementation, support, and enhancement.
  • Experience with Java frameworks including Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
  • Experience with software monitoring tools including Splunk and Signal Fx.
  • Experience with messaging systems including Kafka and Rabbit

    MQ.
  • Experience with SQL and No

    SQL databases including MySQL, Oracle, and Mongo

    DB.
  • Experience with cloud services in GCP.
  • Experience creating Web Services and RESTful services with Web API.
  • Experience with build tools including Maven.
  • Experience reviewing code to maintain highly readable and reusable code for software applications.
  • Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Compensation

Salary Range: $189,592/year to $216,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:
Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
