We are seeking a full-time Receptionist to join our friendly, supportive, and dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service.

As the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and professional experience for everyone who visits our health centre. You will be responsible for greeting patients, organising clinic diaries, handling telephone enquiries, providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the reception area.

Main duties of the job

Applicants must have good organisational skills, a range of office skills and experience in working in reception/administration. Excellent customer service skills are essential, as you will have both face to face and telephone contact with service users on a daily basis. Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, a friendly approach and being enthusiastic are all required for this post.

A knowledge of Systm One would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.

A full valid driving licence and access to a car to use regularly for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).

In addition to the basic salary, this post attracts a High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of basic salary subject to a minimum payment of £1,192 per annum pro rata.
