Tax Accountant (On-Site)Deliver accurate, compliant tax preparation and outstanding client service in a retail environment. Prepare and review individual and small business tax returns by analyzing financial records and applying current federal and state tax laws using cloud-based tools.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review tax returns and ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Analyze tax documents and financial records; identify applicable credits and deductions.
- Advise customers face-to-face and address complex tax questions through research.
- Use tax software/tools to support efficient and correct filing.
- Educate clients on tax and accounting products (e.g., Turbo Tax, Quick Books).
- Collaborate in a supportive, inclusive team environment to support high-demand operations.
- Strong understanding of federal and state tax rules.
- Detail-oriented tax preparation and review capabilities.
- Analytical skills for interpreting financial records and tax scenarios.
- Clear, professional customer communication and in-person advisory skills.
- Ability to research and resolve complex tax issues.
- Comfort using cloud-based tax tools and software.
