Verdantas is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician I for our Holden, MA office. Help us keep our facilities in top shape! We’re looking for a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Technician who takes pride in ensuring clean, safe, and well‑maintained outdoor areas. From routine upkeep to minor repairs, you’ll play a key role in preserving the quality and functionality of our grounds. If you enjoy hands‑on work, operating equipment, and making a visible difference every day, this is the opportunity for you.

• Perform grounds maintenance tasks, including snow plowing, mowing, spring and fall cleanup, and small‑scale tree and brush work
• Perform basic property maintenance tasks such as light carpentry and painting
• Operate and maintain construction tools and grounds equipment
• Assist the supervisor as needed with maintenance, cleaning, and repair tasks
• Identify and resolve property needs
• Follow safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe work environment
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including work performed and materials used
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

• High school diploma preferred, but not required
• Experience in landscaping, snow plowing, and general maintenance
• Strong preference for snow plowing experience; additional compensation may be offered for candidates with proven plowing skills
• Ability to operate and maintain equipment safely and efficiently
• Reliable and available for seasonal or weather‑related work schedules
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

$25.00/hour
