Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT) – Eduro Healthcare
Highland Care Center is searching for a talented Physical Therapist (PT) to join our Outpatient team.
We provide education on dementia training, wound care, vestibular rehab, modality use, skilled maintenance, and many more programming topics. Our facilities deliver outstanding care while fostering strong employee bonds. We offer short–term to long–term care and a variety of living options and professional clinical services. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the highest quality of resident care available, support staff, and establish a positive reputation in the community while delivering on the Eduro Healthcare values of wellness, compassion, customer experience, and company results.

Physical Therapist– Job Responsibilities
- Evaluate a resident’s condition and develop an appropriate physical rehabilitation plan.
- Help residents to improve their mobility.
- Help residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
- Inform residents what they should anticipate in different stages of their recovery and how they will handle each situation.
- Maintain resident confidence and protect facility operations by keeping information confidential.
- Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants when required.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by protecting residents and employees by adhering to infection‑control policies and protocols.
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
- Contribute to inter‑disciplinary team efforts in resident care.
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
- Current and active PT license or registration in the state of employment.
- Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus.
- Completion of orientation required by company policy.
- Health screening and TB test within two weeks of employment.
- Familiarity with, and compliance to, all local, state, and federal regulations relating to the job.
- Provide satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment within three days of hire.
