SUMMARY:

Seeking a Senior Product Engineer for client in Holland, MI. The person will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of product engineering projects from concept through production. The role will involve providing technical direction, supporting cross-functional teams, and mentoring engineering staff in delivering high-quality architectural product solutions.

• Lead engineering projects related to the design and development of architectural product systems.
• Collaborate with internal design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure products meet specifications and business goals.
• Provide technical expertise and oversight throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Drive problem-solving initiatives and implement solutions using data-driven analysis.
• Establish and promote engineering best practices and documentation standards.
• Guide and support a team of engineers, fostering growth and continuous improvement.
• Participate in long-term product planning and innovation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and internal standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required;
  Master’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in product design and development with a Master’s degree, or 5+ years with a Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing engineering projects.
• Experience working with opening, entry, or panel systems is highly preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in CAD software and familiarity with compliance standards.
