Join ERM as the Managing Consultant, Demolition & Environmental Field Manager – a role focused on leading transformative ESG projects across North America. This position offers an opportunity to drive complex remediation and decommissioning challenges while advancing sustainability outcomes within a global organization.

Environmental stewardship is essential. By leading demolition and environmental projects, you help clients safely dismantle outdated infrastructure, restore sites, and meet the highest safety and compliance standards.

• Oversee demolition, decontamination, and decommissioning (DDD) projects at major oil & gas, industrial, and power plant sites.
• Ensure safe, timely, and cost‑effective execution of field operations.
• Act as the critical link between field teams, subcontractors, and project managers, guaranteeing quality and compliance.
• Influence client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives that expand ERM’s impact.

• BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field OR equivalent experience (2 years of experience = 1 year of education).
• 4+ years, preferably 8–15 years, in environmental engineering and construction management consulting.
• Proven experience managing demolition and environmental construction sites, including work plans, field oversight, and reporting.
• OSHA 30‑hour construction safety and OSHA 40‑hour HAZWOPER training (or ability to obtain post‑hire).
• Strong cost estimation and project tracking skills; familiarity with cost estimating tools.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and client service skills.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate field personnel effectively.
• Willingness to travel up to 75 % during project oversight.
• This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

• Advanced knowledge of remedial systems, land disposal facilities, and environmental construction best practices.
• Experience serving as a Field Safety Officer and implementing site‑specific Health & Safety Plans.
• Background in proposal development and client‑facing business development activities.

• Plan and execute field remediation and DDD projects, including design reviews, cost opinions, and pre‑construction conferences.
• Supervise field staff, manage subcontractors, and ensure adherence to schedules and safety protocols.
• Review contractor submittals, RFIs, and change orders for compliance with project specifications.
• Conduct health and safety audits, daily safety briefings, and maintain site safety records.
• Coordinate resolution of inspection and contract administration issues.
• Serve as liaison between field activities and in‑house project managers, ensuring clarity and compliance.
• Support client meetings and assist in proposal preparation and contracting.

Pay range
: $93,225 – $118,333 USD. Actual pay depends on education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall outside this range. This role may be eligible for bonus pay.
