SMT Engineer

** What You Will Do
** We’re hiring an
** SMT NPI Engineer
** to lead new product introduction activities from prototype through production release. Reporting to the
** Manufacturing Engineering Manager**, and is critical to ensuring smooth transitions from design to manufacturing. You’ll be hands-on with SMT processes, equipment programming, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality, reliable products on time.
** How you will do it:
*** Lead SMT NPI activities from prototype through production release, ensuring seamless handoff to manufacturing.
* Drive DFM reviews of PCBA layouts, BOMs, and processes to optimize manufacturability and cost.
* Develop robust process flows, stencils, tooling, and fixturing for new products.
* Coordinate prototype builds with a focus on quality, material traceability, and on-time delivery.
* Program SMT equipment for NPI/prototype runs and provide lessons learned documentation.
* Troubleshoot equipment issues, perform root cause analysis, and partner with Maintenance to ensure reliability.
