ABOUT

US

Bradford Company has manufactured packaging products and material handling systems since 1924. Our Company provides expertise and high-quality solutions to some of the largest companies in the world. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Safely operate shop equipment like CNC machines, lathes, saws, and other tools to prototype solutions and assist with machinery setup.

  • Create clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), assist with trial runs for new packaging formats, and train operators on upgraded equipment setups.
  • Partner with Sales and Product Design to build physical samples, refine packaging prototypes, and establish repeatable production methods.
  • Evaluate and integrate new technologies, automation solutions, and equipment to enhance packaging capabilities and throughput.
  • Proactively monitor production lines and equipment performance, identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
  • Lead line balancing and practical 5S and lean initiatives directly on the shop floor to improve efficiency and reduce defect rates.
  • Conduct time studies, capacity analysis, and line balancing to ensure optimal use of resources.
  • Ensure all processes comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards, and participate in audits as needed.
