- Split Shift – Quincy Street Inc., Holland, MI
Hours: 10am‑6pm.

PositionSummary
The Shipping and Receiving Department receives raw materials, stores finished products in the cold‑storage warehouse, pull orders, sort boxes onto pallets, place completed orders in the warehouse, and load semitrucks using forklift and other equipment to deliver to customers. Report to the Shipping and Receiving Shift Supervisor.
Core Responsibilities- Receive, sort and stock product into pallets; scan boxes and identify pallets.
- Use forklift to move product.
- Perform physically demanding work in extreme cold environments with attention to safety.
- Collaborate with co‑workers, supervisors and managers to maintain a positive work atmosphere.
Job Requirements
- All applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
- Perform constant repetition of stacking boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Stand on concrete floors for extended periods.
- Lift, push or pull up to 50‑100 lbs.
- Work in cold and freezing temperatures.
- Operate forklift and pallet jack safely and efficiently.
- Learn use of bar‑code scanner and handheld scanner equipment.
- Load trucks with product using forklift.
- Work while wearing all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including company policies and procedures.
- Recognize and act on safety incidents, reporting all shipping problems to Supervisor or Lead.
- Work all scheduled hours, including Saturdays, and possible mandatory overtime.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- Forklift Certified preferred.
- Experience with inventory control procedures strongly preferred.
