2nd Shift Panel Finisher - Porter Corp

Shift: 2nd Shift

The primary purpose of this position is to operate hand tools that shape Structural Insulated Panels following blueprint specifications as the finishing process prior to wrapping and shipment. This position is responsible for final shaping and finishing of Structural Insulated Panels by operating hand tools following blueprint specifications.

• Fabrication of SIPs utilizing various hand tools
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Operate Hi-lo and overhead cranes

• Basic construction skills
• Able to read blue prints
• Able to read measurement tools
• Wood working/carpentry experience

• Basic computer skills
• Demonstrated proficiency using EPICOR ERP or similar systems

• Basic computer and math skills
• Able to lift 75 lbs.
• Skilled in using power and hand tools
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Able to stand, reach outward and above, bending frequently and walking
