Machinist Machinist

We are looking for Machinists to join our Nights team in Holland, MI.

Night shift schedule is Sunday - Thursday, starting between 5:00PM and 7:00PM and working 10-hour shifts.

You will operate various pieces of equipment to support our operation and help Skilled Trades, Applications, Controls, and Mechanical Engineering teams to design, build, program, and deploy custom automated equipment and solutions. Set up and operate 3-axis vertical machining centers.

2-5 years experience with setup and operation of CNC machining centers. Programming experience with CAM software preferred. High mix, low volume 2D and 3D milling of simple to complex machined details.

Candidates with CAM Programming experience is a Plus!

• Set up and operate machine tools such as mills. Typically, will be assigned a CNC vertical mill to be ran daily. Mazak, Hurco.
• Read blueprints and machine metallic and nonmetallic parts to print tolerances.
• Import CAD data and use Feature
  
  CAM software to program CNC machining centers.
• Calculate feeds and speeds, adjust for cutting conditions to optimize processing.
• Perform PM on machines and maintain the housekeeping of the work area.
• Clearly communicate potential quality issues with management.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years prior machining experience or vocational school preferred.
• Journeyman machinist preferred but not necessary.
