The position will work Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM at Haworth Global Corporate Headquarters in Holland, MI. Every 3rd week is on‑call rotation (phone calls only). This is a salaried, exempt role (no overtime).

What You May Do?
  • Provide skilled nursing care and emergency first aid to Haworth members in both a manufacturing and corporate setting.
  • Manage a variety of tasks related to employee medical leave and disability cases, including case management for workers' compensation and other medical claims.
  • Serve as a liaison between injured or ill employees, leadership, medical personnel, and insurance providers while continuing to develop knowledge of leave management best practices.
  • Actively contribute to the Basic Emergency Stabilization (BEST) Team.
  • Support Haworth's Health and Wellness Programs by promoting health awareness and lifestyle changes through education and leading informative programs.
Required Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Education Equivalency:
    • Associate's degree in Nursing plus 2 years experience in Nursing.
    • Military Equivalency extmove.org/vets/find/military

Experience:

  • 2 years of experience in Nursing.

Certification/Licensure:

  • Currently licensed in the State of Michigan as Registered Professional Nurse (RN).

Additionally:

  • Ability to work in Holland, MI, without relocation assistance.
  • Ability to travel up to 10 percent of the time.
  • Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the field of Occupational Health Nursing.
  • Experience with FMLA, ADA, Disability case management.
  • Experience in Nursing Case Management.
  • Experience working in an ER or ICU.
  • Experience with implementing safety programs.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English).
  • Experience working with multiple states and Canadian providences policies and procedures.
  • Bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
Essential Functions
  • Coordinate and administer occupational health programs, including pre-placement evaluations, case management, and return-to-work programs.
  • Provide direct nursing care to employees, including first aid, emergency response, and treatment of minor injuries and illnesses.
  • Manage short- and long-term disability cases, including case assessment, communication with employees and insurance providers, and return-to-work planning.
  • Provide individual and group health coaching and counseling to employees on a variety of health topics.
