We’re looking for skilled Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanics to join our team in Surrey—or experienced individuals with equivalent expertise. In this role, you’ll inspect, diagnose, and repair the equipment we sell and service. You’ll be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting complex mechanical issues, ordering parts, and offering expert recommendations to improve equipment performance and reliability. We also welcome applications from highly capable 4th year Heavy Duty Apprentices who are ready to take the next big step in their careers.

Key Responsibilities: We are looking for a proactive and efficient Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring high standards of workmanship and efficiency in equipment maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics. The ideal candidate will ensure high standards of workmanship, efficiency, and safety while adhering to company policies for cost control, waste reduction, and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

• Complete field and shop tasks with efficiency and a positive attitude
• Follow safety procedures and wear the required safety equipment
• Maintain high standards of workmanship in repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics
• Comply with company policies for cost control, waste reduction, and quality
• Use tools, machines, and diagnostic software safely and effectively
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of paperwork and job-related documentation
• Communicate material and supply needs for assigned tasks
• Proactively engage in preventative maintenance and promote company value
• Assist with administrative duties, such as timesheet completion and equipment inspections
• Participate in training and share knowledge with the team
• Stay current on relevant technology and company requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including service vehicles

Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Inter-Provincial Red Seal Journeyman Status or equivalent experience.
• Experience with heavy-duty offroad construction and Agricultural equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and a conveyance to arrive at work on time each day.
• Knowledge of appropriate materials, methods, and tools required in various repair processes.
• Knowledge of equipment and site safety.
• Strong verbal and written command of the English language.
• Ability to read schematics, equipment manuals and use related software for diagnosis.
• Ability to lift heavy objects, walk, and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to perform strenuous physical labour.
• Ability to work in a hot and humid, as well as a cold outdoor environment.
• Ability to work individually as well as part of a team.
