Material Handler

Tommy’s Car Wash Systems is looking for a motivated individual to join our inventory team! In this role you will help manage, maintain, and improve inventory operations! This includes cycle counting, inventory transfers, setting stock levels and much more!

Position Responsibilities

• Heavy emphasis Material Handling and movement of inventory from various departments
• Bin Transfers (internal)
• Inventory Transfers (external)
• Transfer Orders
• Consolidating current pallet racking/bins to free space for inbound equipment.
• Working with shipping teams on strategic item locations.
• Creates labels for warehouse bins/racking.
• Assisting with cycle counting and route causing inventory discrepancies.
• Assists in Receiving and Shipping as needed.

Position Qualifications & Candidate Attributes

• High school diploma or GED.
• Forklift experience
• Well Organized
• Ability to communicate
• Ability to work independently
• Work in a fast-paced environment
• Result driven
• Basic skills with Microsoft Office/Outlook

Work Environment

This job operates in a warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets along with forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse / assembly tools and functions.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• Frequently stand and work in a fast-paced environment where they will often be multitasking
• Lift between 50 - 70 lbs
• Remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
• Able to move about inside the warehouse
• Be able to drive, go up heights
• Ability to work and commute in all weather conditions
• Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as; calculator, copy machine and printer
• Able to effectively communicate, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself and exchange information
• Able to walk, bend, twist, turn, stoop, climb steps, reach with hands, use hands to fingers.
• Tolerate vibrating tools and louder than normal work environment at times.

Travel

Travel is primarily local during the business day. Occasional travel to franchise locations.
