Responsibilities/Duties
  • Accounts payable (invoice processing, statement reconciliation, management of purchasing cards)
  • New employee onboarding and records maintenance
  • Assist with weekly union payroll process
  • Subcontract management
  • Office supply purchasing
  • Assist with event/meeting planning and catering orders
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships
  • Assist and provide support to Branch Manager, Project Managers and Estimators as needed
  • Greet incoming callers/visitors with excellent customer service skills
Basic Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of office administration experience is required
  • Experience with accounts payable is required
  • Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Must be a self‑starter and multi‑task, with agility to move between competing priorities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Word
  • Strong technical skills to learn new software with ease
Preferred Requirements
  • Experience working in the construction industry is preferred
  • Experience with onboarding and union payroll is preferred
  • MA Notary Public License
