Complete all preventive maintenance calls on HVAC systems installed by Rodenhiser. Educate customers on the status of their systems and any pertinent issues.
Key Sub Tasks- Explain replacement opportunities for aging, inefficient, or under‑performing systems.
- Establish customer rapport to sell the right products and services.
- Ask the right lifestyle questions to troubleshoot heating, cooling, and plumbing system malfunctions.
- Educate and assist customers in choosing the best finance options and maintenance plans.
- Maintain a clean, organized job site and well‑inventoried truck.
- Be accurate and timely with invoices, time cards, curbside feedback and option sheets.
- 1‑3 years’ experience in the field.
- Capacity to perform preventive maintenance service on HVAC systems 10 years or newer.
- Competence at checking gas pressures, sub‑cool, super heat, combustion tests, and static pressures.
- Current apprenticeship card/license or formal trade schooling.
- Intimate knowledge and ability to use related trade tools/equipment.
- Successful completion of trade‑related schooling or equivalent experience.
- Current EPA universal certificate.
- Knowledge of HVAC/Plumbing and gas codes, and proper electrical and HVAC safety standards.

The expected base salary range for this position is $55,000–$80,000, based on responsibilities, experience, and other relevant factors. Employees may also be eligible for bonuses, commissions, or other variable compensation depending on their position. Total compensation is determined through a structured review considering experience, education, certifications, and licenses.
