An ideal candidate would be skilled and highly motivated, with a focus on working safely and providing outstanding customer service. The core requirements of the Installation Foreman will be to conduct site inspections, provide leadership, guidance and assistance to the landscape installation teams.
Primary Responsibilities- Assist with landscape installations including proper planting, shrub, tree, sod, and ground cover installations; drainage installations; installation of hardscapes: stone / gravel / retaining walls / brick pavers.
- Provide guidance to installation crews via grading and clearing, tree cutting and pruning, working with fencing and decking.
- Provide guidance for soil, planting, watering, and insect control.
- Train personnel on all aspects of the Installation Tech Positions.
- Maintain company vehicle as per company requirements.
- Discover customers' concerns and needs, and assist in developing solutions.
- Hold yourself accountable for quality, workmanship, efficiency, and adherence to the proposal.
- Meet with the Director and/or VP of Enhancements providing updates on your projects as requested, inform of any change orders to projects as warranted.
- Hands‑on leadership.

- Submit and review required paperwork: timesheets, receipts, daily debriefs, inspection reports and completed reports – accurately and timely.
- Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations at shop, yard and on jobsites.

- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Minimum of 2+ years as an Installation Foreman or similar position with landscape install experience (proper planting, installation of shrubs, trees, sod, and ground covers).
- Installation of hardscapes: gravel / stone / retaining walls / brick pavers.
- Experience operating Vermeer and attachments (e.g., power rake, trencher, grapple).
- Experience operating skid steer (Bobcat) and excavators.
- Experience with 2‑cycle equipment (but not limited to gas shears, chainsaw, brush cutters).
- Familiar with and basic use of a laser level.
- Valid CDL and acceptable MVR for business travel and reliable transportation.
- Working knowledge of irrigation installation and repair.
- Carry and use a smartphone and/or data‑enabled device for business communications and reporting.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office and Adobe software (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access).
- Ability to read architectural drawings.
- Required to work in non‑climate‑controlled environments.
- Ability to walk and/or stand for long periods of time.
- Manual labor intensive position, requiring lifting of up to 80 lbs.
- Travel to and work at various locations including residential and commercial sites.
