Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Shop Laborer to join our team. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for cutting steel and maintaining a clean shop environment. Additionally, you will be cross-trained to serve as a backup painter and assist with shipping/receiving tasks. This position offers room for advancement for those who demonstrate proficiency in their responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily tasks such as cutting steel and general shop cleaning
- Train as a backup painter for industrial bins
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties
- De-burr metal edges and perform metal fabrication tasks
- Conduct quality inspections of final products
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Operate and maintain various tools and equipment, including welding machines, grinders, and cutting torches
- Ensure accuracy and precision in measurements and assembly
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and quality standards
- Steel Toed Boots
7AM - 3:30 PM Monday - Friday
