Thales Academy – Building Substitute Teacher (2025–2026 school year)

Thales Academy Holly Springs is hiring a Building Substitute Teacher to support our mission of providing an excellent and affordable education for students in Pre‑K to 12th grades.

• Implement the approved curriculum, providing proper pacing guides, lesson plans, and assessments for assigned courses.
• Cooperate with team members to develop teaching skills.
• Participate in productive discussions, including team planning meetings and sharing curriculum and instructional expertise.
• Engage in offered professional development opportunities.
• Act in a professional manner in verbal and nonverbal communications following established guidelines.
• Promote communication between parents, community members, and teammates, establishing and maintaining home‑school connections.
• Assist in providing opportunities for parental/guardian involvement within the school.

• High energy and organized with a passion for teaching children.
• Direct Instruction or other teaching experience preferred but not required.
