• Lead teams of engineers and technicians to provide control system solutions.
• Work in a team environment with engineers and designers from Rovi Sys, partners, and clients to provide state‑of‑the‑art control systems that improve efficiency, product quality, and profitability of process manufacturing.
• Develop life‑cycle documents, electrical panels, control architecture, and wiring drawings per GMP standards.

• Define and implement programmable logic controller (PLC) and distributed control system (DCS) configurations.
• Test and commission control systems onsite and qualify them.
• Mentor less experienced engineers.
• Develop engineering standards to improve efficiency and accuracy of project execution.
• Provide technical sales support to the Rovi Sys business‑development team.
• Manage one large project or several concurrent small‑to‑medium projects for customers at multiple Rovi Sys offices and locations.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to perform technical and managerial responsibilities.
• Effective and professional communication with customers and colleagues to present new ideas, achieve challenging goals, and solve problems.
• Ability to guide a project with little supervision.
• Proven track record of managing small projects from start to finish.
• Ability to author proposals and change orders for new and repeat business through relationships.
• Thorough understanding of control‑system design and coding.
• Self‑motivated, excellent communication skills, and an enjoyment of working with people.
• Hands‑on experience with current PLC or DCS platforms.

• B.S. in Electrical, Computer, or Chemical Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
• Electrical‑design fundamentals.
• Experience with Foxboro I/A.
• Experience with third‑party HMI/SCADA software—GE/Intellution, Wonder Ware, OSIsoft.
• Process control fundamentals.
• Understanding of process control.
• Awareness of process safety and good documentation practices.
• Network design and administration.
