The Relationship Banker I is responsible for conducting teller transactions and cash vault transactions accurately and timely, delivering exceptional customer service while following bank policies and procedures, maintaining controls, mitigating risk, and helping customers achieve financial goals through the sales and servicing of bank products and services. The incumbent collaborates with the branch team to achieve team scorecard goals and works towards individual scorecard objectives.
PrincipalAccountabilities
- 40% Handling customer transactions and account inquiries; maintaining and balancing cash drawers and vaults, reconciling discrepancies.
- 15% Identifying customer needs and offering appropriate products and services.
- 10% Assisting with internal controls, daily report follow‑up, night depository deposits, and other operational duties.
- 10% Demonstrating the Bank’s Right by You quality standards by providing superior customer service.
- 10% Mitigating losses through accuracy and adherence to bank policies, procedures, internal controls, and regulatory guidelines.
- 10% Achieving individual and/or team financial, production, and relationship results relative to assigned metrics and goals.
- 5% Performing other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or GED with one year of cash handling and customer service experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- High level of accountability, efficiency, and accuracy.
- Exceptional time management, communication, and customer service skills.
- Friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor.
- Completion of teller training classes.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Strong sales skills.
