Join our experienced team at JMA Pediatrics as a full‑time Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) in Holly Springs. This role is part of our team of providers and support staff.
Responsibilities- Manage the intake process: taking and recording vital signs, height, weight, vision, hearing, and relevant visit data.
- Gather patient and family data, including medical and social history.
- Review patient’s current medication list, allergies, and preferred pharmacy.
- Assist the provider as directed during treatments, examinations, and procedures.
- Administer vaccinations under provider direction.
- Collect specimens, perform phlebotomy, and conduct basic lab testing.
- Review the patient record to determine current and potential care needs.
- Provide patient with after‑visit summary, follow‑up care or procedural instructions, and/or educational materials as directed by the provider.
- Coordination of specialty programs such as Vaccine Inventory Coordinator, Population Health Specialist, and other continued growth opportunities.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
- Proficient in medical administrative support and patient care.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Experience with EHR systems and vital sign monitoring.
- Basic life support certification.
- Experience in outpatient settings.
