The Senior IT Engineer, Business Relationship Partner (BRP) serves as the site liaison between FDB Global IT and FDB, Holly Springs. This role drives collaboration with business units to ensure IT aligns with local site goals, working closely with site leadership, FDB IT functional areas, and Project Management to meet business needs and priorities.

By the end of 2025, we’ll open North America’s largest end‑to‑end CDMO biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility, offering drug substance production, fill‑finish, and packaging under one roof. What You’ll Do In Project
  • Analyze business requirements and work with local IT leadership to develop project schedules to support project milestones.
  • Provide local SLT updates on project status and escalations.
  • Coordinate project resources with local IT team to allocate FTE or contractor technical resources.
Operations
  • Manage the relationship between FDB Holly Springs business functions and Global IT.
  • Advise decision makers with insightful data visualizations and reporting to drive impactful business decisions.
  • Contribute to IT strategy and monitor technical trends that impact service delivery.
  • Serve as escalation point with Global IT functions to remediate incidents quickly and restore service.
  • Ensure that the site feels IT is a partner, assisting in anticipating future demands and priorities for new and updated products and services.
  • Provide suggestions for prioritization, resolve issues, and offer solutions to Global IT and site business leaders.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support and improve IT services.
  • Assist in developing business cases for local IT projects and moving projects through Global IT PMO prioritization process.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Effective communication, both written and verbal.
  • Collaborative attitude working with global peers and cross‑functional teams.
  • Understanding of IT fundamentals (systems, infrastructure, integrations, technical design).
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Ability to present technical information to non‑technical audiences.

  • Strong analytical detail and problem‑solving.
Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, or related field, with 5 years of experience in Global IT, Senior IT Engineer, or related role.
  • Experience in a Business Relationship Management or Business Relationship Partner role.
  • Experience in Drug Substance Manufacturing (DSM) or Drug Product.
Preferred Requirements / Certifications
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, or related field, with 3 years of experience in Global IT, Senior IT Engineer, or related role.
  • Experience working within a Global IT team and associated processes.
  • Certifications related to Agile, Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean, or Six Sigma.
