Job Description What You’ll Do
  • Performs intermediate instrumentation and controls troubleshooting, repairs, preventive and corrective maintenance to all site equipment, systems, process measurement and control, utility, laboratory, and bench‑top instrumentation
  • Performs calibrations to instrumentation and controls
  • Follows standard procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) quality standards
  • Provides input and recommendation for written instruction of preventive maintenance tasks and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Assists in the development of maintenance and calibration procedures and programs
  • Performs loop checks for new instrumentation to ensure proper functionality
  • Performs lock out tag out (LOTO) as required to complete I&C/Metrology activities
  • Mentors entry‑level technicians
  • Adheres to all safety requirements and follow safe work practices
  • Notifies management or Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) when unsafe conditions or hazards are found
  • Supports site operations and emergency work orders during off‑hours, as needed
  • Performs spare parts assessments, as required
  • Other duties, as assigned
Knowledge & Skills
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems
  • Effective communication, both written and oral
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
  • Must be able to work shifts and on‑call, as needed
Required Skills
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 4 years of I&C experience or similar field
  • Experience with GMP requirements
Preferred Skills
  • Associates degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in a pharmaceutical or similar manufacturing environment
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), such as Pro Cal V5 , Blue Mountain, Maximo, Infor EAM, etc.
Working Conditions &

Physical Requirements
  • Will work in environment which may necessitate respiratory protection
  • May work in Mechanical/Production spaces that may require hearing protection and enrollment in a hearing conservation program
  • Will work in environment operating a motor vehicle or Powered Industrial Truck. May be required to operate a pallet jack
  • Ability to discern audible cues
  • Ability to inspect or perform a task with 20/20 corrected vision, visual acuity, including distinguishing color
  • Ability to ascend or descend ladders, scaffolding, ramps, etc.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time (60 minutes)
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time (60 minutes)
  • Ability to conduct activities using repetitive motions that include wrists, hands and/or fingers
  • Ability to operate machinery and/or power tools
  • Ability to conduct work that includes moving objects up to 10 lbs. (33 lbs., more with assistance)
  • Ability to bend, push or pull, reach to retrieve materials from 18” to 60” in height, and use twisting motions
